The International Team swept Friday's foursomes at Medinah and leads the Presidents Cup 7-3 heading into the weekend, the Associated Press reports. It's their biggest lead after two sessions since Royal Melbourne in 1998, the only time the Internationals have won the thing. The top match came down to 18. Nick Taylor drove into the trees, Corey Conners punched out, and Taylor stuck a cut 9-iron from 151 yards to 2 feet. Sam Burns' birdie putt to tie rimmed out, and Scottie Scheffler and Burns went down 1-up. Ryan Fox holed birdies from 15 feet on 15 and 20 feet on 16 to swing his match. Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim beat Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay 4 and 3. U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker kept his chin up: "There's still 20 points out there." Saturday brings four fourball matches in the morning and four foursomes in the afternoon, and two years ago in Canada the Americans won six of eight on Saturday.
